Tickets sold out quickly in less than a minute. It is known that American ARMYs are willing to sleep on the streets to see Jungkook’s solo debut stage. This is to get a good seat because admissions are on a first-come-first-served basis.

On July 11th (KST), videos showing people sleeping out in Central Park are being uploaded one after another on Twitter and TikTok.

Those lining up on the streets of Manhattan in the videos are American ARMYs to see Jungkook’s solo debut. They even brought travel bags and camping equipment.

Some fans have been staying on the streets since July 8th, when Jungkook’s performance notice was posted. It was a week of homelessness, rousing worries that it is not safe to sleep in the park.

In particular, concerns are growing as the body of an unidentified man was found in Harlem Meer, an artificial lake located northeast of Central Park, on July 9th.

Netizens left comments such as “Spending a week homeless? It’s true love“, “I understand how they feel” and “Jungkook is so popular in the United States.”
