The film “Alienoid” Part 2 was confirmed to be released in January 2024
“Alienoid” Part 2 continues the story of humans and Taoists trying to save everyone by returning to the present while hidden secrets are revealed in the fierce battle for the new sword. Set in a unique world where the past and present, as well as humans and aliens, come together, the film builds on the intriguing developments of Part 1, raising anticipation for its January 2024 release. A teaser poster and teaser trailer have been unveiled to provide a glimpse of the film.
“Alienoid” Part 2 is expected to resolve all the lingering questions left by Part 1. Apart from the dynamic synergy of the main cast from Part 1, including Ryu Jun-yeol, Kim Tae-ri, Kim Woo-bin, Yum Jung-ah, Jo Woo-jin and Kim Eui-sung, Part 2 introduces new cast members like Honey Lee and Jin Seon-kyu. The teaser poster focuses on “Mureuk” (Ryu Jun-yeol), “Lee Ahn” (Kim Tae-ri) and “Thunder” (Kim Woo-bin) facing a towering disaster in the backdrop of shattered buildings and the aliens’ red air. The poster is accompanied by the caption “We must return. To protect everyone“, adding to the intrigue and expectations surrounding the unfolding story in Part 2.
The teaser trailer shows Lee Ahn traveling to the future with Mureuk, Heug-seol (Yum Jung-ah) and Cheong-woon (Jo Woo-jin) to prevent the disaster.
