“Alchemy of Souls” Lee Jae Wook and Go Yoon Jung reunite in the stellar cast for “Death’s Game” 

Fans are buzzing at the release of the actor lineup.

Following the “Alchemy of Souls” craze, Lee Jae Wook and Go Yoon Jung reunite once again in another series called “Death’s Game” with only Goo Yoon Jung as the leading lady this time. Apart from the beloved duo, “Death’s Game” also gathers other familiar faces, including: Seo In Guk (main role), Park So Dam (main role), Choi Si Won, Jang Seung Jo, Sung Hoon, Kim Jae Wook and Kim Ji Hoon.

Netizens are buzzing with the revealed cast of the series, expressing their amazement at the stellar lineup for the series. Some viewers even stated the it felt just like a “mini-showbiz” with many famous names joined the production.  

“Death’s Game” is a drama adaptation of the webtoon of the same name by Lee Won Sik and Ggulchan. The story follows Choi Yi Jae (Seo In Guk), a young guy going through many rough patches in his life. After suffering from a series of unfortunate events that span from unemployment, failed relationship to financial difficulty, Yi Jae decides to take his own life. 

However, just when Choi Yi Jae thinks it has all been over, he wakes up in an airplane as Pak Tae Su, a successful businessman who is also dating Kang In A, coincidentally Choi Yi Jae’s idol. The sudden twist of fate gives Yi Jae more reasons to live. 

At this point, however, besides Choi Yi Jae is death incarnation, a woman with white hair (Park So Dam). The woman punishes Yi Jae by forcing him to face death 13 times with each rebirth as a new person. The death the protagonist experiences is essentially the same. Yet, if Choi Yi Jae somehow manages to stop it from happening, he can continue living in that new life and identity.
