Ahn Eun-jin Recalled Suffering From Facial Paralysis Before Filming ‘My Dearest’

On January 13th, a video was released on the channel “Knock Knock” featuring Ahn Eun-jin as a guest.

In this video, regarding compliments on her dirt face in the drama, Ahn Eun-jin recalled, “I personally felt better when I applied dirt than when I was wearing full makeup. I felt more comfortable acting with dirt on my face. I never thought about that when I was acting on the set because I felt secure when I was filming the scene.”

On the other hand, she confessed that she had a facial paralysis before filming “My Dearest.” Ahn Eun-jin said, “I had facial paralysis right before the shooting. I heard that the only way to use it is to inject the highest dose of steroids. I took the medicine like that because I had to film “The Good Bad Mother” right away, but my face and spring got swollen, and I was very upset because it came to my knees and face,” adding that it was because her immune system was weak.

On tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” in December last year, Ahn Eun-jin said, “It was weird that one side of my face felt weird. I thought it was just swollen. I went to the hospital during filming, but it didn’t get better right away. My knees were so swollen that I couldn’t even bend down after just walking for 10 minutes. I think I got strength from playing Gilchae.”

Meanwhile, Ahn Eun-jin quelled the controversy over her acting skills with delicate emotional expressions through her role as Gilchae in the MBC drama “My Dearest” last year.
