Ahn Bo-hyun, who plays Yi Sun-sin’s son in “Noryang”, joins hand in promoting National Cemetery

Actor Ahn Bo-hyun, who plays Admiral Yi Sun-sin’s eldest son in the movie “Noryang”, is continuing his patriotic activities

According to the film industry on Dec 13th, Ahn Bo-hyun will shoot a promotional video at the National Cemetery on Dec 15th.

This promotional video is planned to convey the meaning of the National Cemetery, which honors the loyalty and sacrifice of patriotic martyrs and national heroes, and to make it a space shared with more citizens. Ahn Bo-hyun reportedly decided to participate in the promotional video as he empathized with the planning intention.

In particular, this promotional video holds deeper significance as it coincides with the release of “Noryang”. The film depicts the historical Battle of Noryang, the last major battle of the Japanese invasions of Korea (1592–1598). In this work, Ahn Bo-hyun plays the role of Yi Hoe, the eldest son of General Yi Sun-sin.

Following his impactful performance in “Noryang”, Ahn Bo-hyun’s participation in the National Cemetery promotional video adds another layer of meaningful acting to his career. “Noryang” is set to be released on Dec 20th.
