Kim Hye Soo and her junior male actors who worked together in the drama “The Queen’s Umbrella” shared their unique impressions of each other.
On the afternoon of October 7th (KST), an online press conference of tvN’s Saturday-Sunday drama “The Queen’s Umbrella” was held. The event was attended by director Kim Hyung Sik and lead actors Kim Hye Soo, Choi Won Young, Kim Hae Sook, Moon Sang Min, Yoo Seon Ho, and Ok Ja Yeon.
Kim Hye Soo takes on the role of Im Hwa Ryung, a queen who goes into a fierce royal education war for her sons, the troublesome princes in the drama. Moon Sang Min plays Prince Seong Nam and Yoo Seon Ho plays Prince Gye Seong. Both are Hwa Ryung’s sons.
Moon Sang Min said, “I’m learning a lot by having the opportunity to act with Kim Hye Soo. I was very nervous during the first filming, but sunbaenim contacted me first, so we talked a lot about the scenes before filming began, making me more relaxed. The princes are happily acting because we have a comfortable and good atmosphere even on set.”
Yoo Seon Ho said, “It was such an honor to be able to work with Kim Hye Soo. I couldn’t believe it even while filming. I learned a lot from sunbaenim. There was a scene I was really worried about. It was a scene that needed the depth of emotions. As I was acting with Kim Hye Soo, there was something that came out without me knowing. I realized and learned a lot of things that I couldn’t express in words. It was a really new experience. Talking about it now, it even gives me goosebumps.”
MC Park Kyung Rim, after hearing the sharing of the actors, said, “Last night, Kim Hye Soo sent me a text message saying, “‘My “sons”, Moon Sang Min and Yoo Seon Ho, this is the first time they come to this kind of place. Please take good care of them!’. It was so heart-warming.”

Yoo Seon Ho, who turned 21 this year, debuted as an actor in the web drama ‘Devil Inspector’ in 2017. Meanwhile, Moon Sang Min is a 23-year-old rookie actor who made his debut in the web-drama ‘4 Reasons Why I Hate Christmas’ in 2019.
Kim Hye Soo, who made her debut with the movie ‘Ggambo’ in 1986, is a veteran actress with a 36-year career in the Korean entertainment industry with multiple excellent performances in many famous dramas and movies. At the age of 53, the actress still maintains a gorgeous, age-less beauty and is nicknamed the ‘celebrity’s celebrity’ thanks to her popularity in the industry.
