Kim Ji-won Asked Fans To Refrain From Filming And Giving Gifts Amid Airport Mob Controversy

Kim Ji-won's agency announced about the lack of safety measures for the actress.

On May 16th, Kim Ji-won’s agency HighZium Studio announced on its official account, “Recently, concern arises as there is a large crowd gathering when Kim Ji-won enters and exits airports in Korea and abroad,” adding, “We are aware of the seriousness of the safety problem, and we would like to provide some information to prepare for the safety of everyone.”

The agency said, “First of all, please refrain from taking unreasonable pictures and delivering letters and gifts directly to secure a safe distance. If you send letters and gifts to our agency, we will deliver them well to the actress. In addition, for security reasons, other than general zones, please refrain from taking all photos and videos at departure halls and duty-free zones.”

“We always thank you for your interest and love toward the artist,” it said. “We will also try to ensure that the safety of all people, including the artist and fans, is the top priority.”

On May 15th, Kim Ji-won returned home through Incheon International Airport after completing her overseas schedule. However, some people expressed concern that there were only two bodyguards protecting her compared to the huge crowd, which led to criticism towards her agency.
