“Becoming Witch”, starring Lee Yu-ri, officially ended, last episode ended with a poor rating of 1.07%

The lastest episode of “Becoming Witch’’ aired on September 10 coundn’t save the series low records of ratings.

According to Nielsen Korea, an audience rating research company on the 11th, the 12th episode of TV Chosun’s Saturday drama ‘The Witch is Alive’ (directed by Kim Yun-cheol, written by Park Par-ran) recorded 1.07% nationwide based on pay TV households.

In the last episode, Gong-mari (Lee Yu-ri), Chae Hee-soo (Lee Min-young), and Yang Jin-ah (Yoon So-yi), who faced a new phase in their lives after adversity, were drawn with different happy endings.

‘Becoming Witch’ started off smoothly on June 25th with an audience rating of 3.4%. However, after episode 5, the ratings remained at 1% and the drama ended quietly without any significant rebound.

Actress Lee Yu-ri drew attention by trying a rather unconventional hairstyle to describe the character of Gong-mari.  She cut her hair short and brought the character to life with a strong wavy perm hairstyle.

Meanwhile, it is reported that the sequel to TV Chosun’s ‘Becoming Witch’ is ‘Red Balloon’ will be written by Mun Young-nam.
