Park Hae-jin’s side refuted rumors of Park Hae-jin being the actor who was arrested for taking drugs… “That’s clearly not true”

The rumors pointing out Park Hae-jin as the actor in his 40s who was arrested for taking drugs have been confirmed to be false information.

Park Hae-jin’s close acquaintance denied the recent allegation, “The rumors are clearly not true”. The actor’s company Artist Company also stated, “The actor in his 40s who took drugs is not Park Hae-jin”.

Earlier, the Seoul Gangnam Station arrested actor A at his home in Nohyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul at around 2 p.m on September 10th. A simple drug test was conducted and he received a ‘positive’ result. At the time A was arrested, he was reportedly unable to talk and walk properly and there were vomiting marks around his mouth. The police found dozens of pills at A’s house and are currently checking the ingredients.

According to reports, A, who was born in 1981, made his drama debut in 2006 and has been active playing several main and supporting roles in movies and dramas. He played a significant role in a daily drama in 2021 and made his face known widely. It is said that he has not carried out any activity in 2022 and his Instagram account has already turned into a private one.

As speculations over the identity of A arose, Park Hae-jin was mentioned. It is because his Instagram account, which has more than 1 million followers, has been changed to private and A’s debut year (2006) is the same as Park Hae-jin.

In fact, it is known that Park Hae-jin’s Instagram was already switched to private in June. It was also confirmed that he closed his account to the public to rearrange his feed during the process of moving to a new agency.

In addition, Park Hae-jin’s home is also not in Gangnam-gu, Seoul and he has not turned 40 yet. Apart from Park Hae-jin, actor Lee Moo-saeng was also mentioned in netizens’ discussion over the identity of actor A. As a result, many fans are criticizing netizens who raised excessive speculations over the issue.
