TVXQ (also known as Tohoshinki) continues to prove their enduring legacy in 2025 with major milestones and global activities. In April 2025, U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin renewed their contracts with SM Entertainment, marking an incredible 22 years since their debut. SM Entertainment confirmed their commitment to fully supporting TVXQ’s diverse activities across music, performances, and global promotions.
The duo recently wrapped up their “20th Anniversary LIVE TOUR ZONE” in Japan, performing 19 shows across eight cities. This tour commemorated their two decades of success since their Japanese debut, supported by their 2024 Japanese studio album Zone, which performed strongly on the Oricon and Billboard Japan charts.

Further solidifying their global presence, TVXQ is set to perform at “SMTOWN LIVE 2025: The Culture, the Future,” with concerts scheduled for Mexico City on May 9 and Los Angeles on May 11. They also have a highly anticipated concert at Allianz Stadium in Twickenham, UK, on June 28, 2025, proving their consistent international appeal.
TVXQ made their debut on December 26, 2003, with the sweet ballad “Hug,” continuing SM Entertainment’s tradition of boy groups following H.O.T. and Shinhwa. Unlike their predecessors, who emphasized powerful choreography, TVXQ showcased a softer image with melodic harmonies and a concept that highlighted their ability in both a cappella and dance performances.

Despite the challenges, Yunho and Changmin continued to dominate the stage with maturity and charisma.
