According to multiple music industry insiders, Jun Hyosung and Jung Hana have decided to reunite and open the second chapter of SECRET. This marks the group’s first activity in about 12 years since “Secret Summer” in 2014. The reunion project will be produced and led by RBW.
Through this new activity, SECRET is expected to remake their past hit songs in a 2026 version, giving longtime fans a fresh take on the tracks that once made the group widely loved. However, the lineup will look different this time. After Han Sunhwa left the group in 2016 and Song Jieun is currently not pursuing separate music activities, Hyosung and Hana are reportedly breaking away from the original format. They plan to recruit a new member and return as a 3-member group.
Details about the new member will be revealed later. SECRET debuted in 2009 and became one of K-pop’s representative girl groups with hit songs such as “Magic,” “Madonna,” “Shy Boy,” and “Starlight Moonlight.”
As of 2026, Hyosung has built a career as an actress, radio DJ, and entertainer, while Jung Hana has continued acting and personal activities. With familiar members, a new lineup, and remade hit songs, SECRET’s reported reunion is already drawing attention as one of the most nostalgic K-pop comeback projects of the year.
