BTS V expressed affection for his sick pet dog Yeon-tan.
On Dec 21st, fashion magazine GQ Korea released a photoshoot and an interview with V on its official website.
On that day, V was asked a question, “As the year is ending soon, who do you want to write a gratitude card to?”
Soon after, V mentioned his puppy Yeon-tan.
When asked what he would do with the card in order for Yeon-tan to understand, V joked, “Should I write in ‘woof woof’?” drawing laughter.
However, V soon drew attention as he started talking about Tan in a serious manner, “Tan, you did a great job.” V said, “Tan has been in bad health since birth. He cannot breathe well because of his small airway.”
According to V, Yeon-tan has fainted after a short run and had to undergo surgery twice this year, which both failed and now the puppy has no choice but to endure with the help of medicine.
V seems to have been heartbroken for Yeon-tan, who he thinks of as a part of his family.
V wrote to Tan, saying, “I’m so grateful that you’ve endured and lived on despite all the hardship. I hope we can make fun memories together until the rest of our lives, and I want to see an adult Tan as well.”
Through his letter to Tan, V’s only wish for this Christmas is to be able to see Tan being healthy.
Finally, V was asked about his wish for 2022.
He said, “I hope a person called Kim Tae-hyung will be healthy. And I want to write many good songs to present to our ARMY (BTS’s fandom).”
V also hoped that there would be many opportunities for him to see ARMY in 2022.
