The release schedules for hit Netflix series “Squid Game” Season 2 and “D.P.” Season 2 have been unveiled.
On June 20th, Netflix revealed that “D.P.” Season 2 will be released on July 28th, along with the drama’s official poster.
“D.P.” Season 2 is the sequel to the six-episode drama “D.P.”, which was released in 2021. It tells the story of Jun Ho (Jung Hae In) and Ho Yeol (Koo Kyo Hwan), members of the Deserter Pursuit Unit (D.P.), as they chase after individuals with various stories and confront the realities they had never known.
Following the previous season, Jung Hae In, Koo Kyo Hwan, Kim Sung Kyun, and Son Seok Gu will reprise their roles. Meanwhile, new actors Ji Jin Hee and Choi Hyun Wook have been introduced as new cast members.
In addition, prior to season 2 of “Squid Game”, a survival program titled “Squid Game: The Challenge”, which reproduces “Squid Game” into reality, will be released in November this year.
In “Squid Game: The Challenge”, 456 participants from around the world will compete for a prize of 4.56 million US dollars (approximately 560 million won).
