Korean moviegoers may be familiar with the six Korean stars listed below because they are all well-known names with exceptional acting abilities. However, few people know that these actors have never participated in any acting classes or training programs.
Nam Goong Min
Nam Goong Min studied mechanical engineering before deciding to pursue a career in acting. The actor, on the other hand, has never taken acting courses. The late artist Choi Jin Sil was the one who helped Nam Goong Min debut as an actor. After participating in a car insurance commercial CF with Nam Goong Min, she introduced him to her manager and helped the male star land his first role in the sitcom Daebak Family.
Lee Byung Hun
Lee Byung Hun is widely regarded as Korea’s best actor. However, this Korean star once admitted that he never learned how to act properly. After passing the 14th KBS talent audition in 1991, Lee Byung Hun’s acting skill was entirely gained via practical experience.
