A is a famous Youtuber who often uploads Vlog content and has about 320,000 subscribers. A is accused of smoking marijuana in the US with four acquaintances, including Yoo Ah In, in January. It is said that A admitted to most of the allegations during the investigation.

Yoo Ah In is currently under investigation for taking more than 7 types of drugs, including propofol, marijuana, cocaine, ketamine, zolpidem, and two psychotropic drugs, midazolam and alprazolam. As Yoo Ah In’s police arrest warrant was rejected in May, the prosecution decided to reinvestigate the drug case of Yoo Ah In again.

Initially, Yoo Ah In was suspected of taking five types of drugs, but on June 9th, the actor was sent to prosecution with two additional psychotropic drugs, known to be used in insomnia and depression treatment, being added to the charge.

In addition to A, the prosecution is also investigating B, Yoo Ah In’s friend & artist who graduated from an art school, another Youtuber C, and D with a US nationality.

In particular, the police raised suspicion of C fleeing to France with money provided by Yoo Ah In through another acquaintance to avoid the drug case investigation. However, C refuted the allegations through SNS on June 11th.

C is currently staying abroad and has not yet returned to Korea despite the measures taken by the police, such as invalidating their passport.
