Singer IU’s “Celebrity” topped Melon’s annual chart.
According to data released by guyso.me, a domestic music chart statistics site, IU “Celebrity” topped the Melon’s annual chart, Brave Girls “Rollin” ranked 2nd, and BTS “Dynamite” ranked 3rd.
They are then followed by Justin Bieber‘s “Peaches” in 4th place, aespa‘s “Next Level” in 5th place, IU‘s “Lilac” in 6th place, Kyeong-seo‘s “Shiny Star” in 7th place, Lee Mu-jin‘s “Traffic Light” in 8th place, BTS’s “Butter” in 9th place, and IU‘s “Hold My Hand” in 10th place.
Meanwhile, IU won the “Best Female Artist” and the “Best Vocal Performance” at the 2021 Mnet ASIAN MUSIC AWARD Sheld at CJ ENM Studio Center in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, in December last year.
After winning the award, IU said in her speech, “The MAMA trophies are always heavy and gold-like. When I display these at home, I feel good and heavy every time I see these. It was a year when I tried really hard to do music activities on my own, and I am grateful for the good award. I’m so grateful to UAENA (official fan club) for listening to my music, promoting it, and voting for me whenever I release new music,” she said.
