Ailee reportedly terminated her contract with THE L1VE, saying goodbye to Ravi’s label after only one year

Singer Ailee will leave THE L1VE, the label founded by Ravi.

According to officials in the entertainment industry on July 29th, THE L1VE recently terminated their exclusive contract with Ailee. At the time the contract was signed, termination was left open and the process went well with no problem.

THE L1VE is a label founded by Ravi to support artists of various genres apart from hip-hop and help them work on music together. After announcing the expansion of the agency, Ravi recruited Ailee as his first artist in July last year.

Making her first step in the music industry by releasing “Heaven” in 2012, Ailee gained keen attention from the public for her outstanding vocal skills, relaxed stage manners, and various performances as soon as she debuted.

Ailee later established herself as a representative female vocalist with many hit songs, such as “I will show you”, “U&I”, “Singing Got Better” and “Don’t Touch Me”. In addition, she also sang the OST song “I Will Go To You Like The First Snow” for tvN’s drama “Goblin” and left a great impression on the viewers.

Ailee also proved her power as an unrivaled artist through her 3rd full album “AMY”, which is the first work she introduced after signing to Ravi’s agency.
