Han Ga In reveals the story of suffering burnout after giving birth to her second child.
JTBC’s entertainment show “Handless Day” (directed by Kim Min Seok, Park Geun Hyung/written by Noh Jin Young) is a program that contains the life stories of citizens dreaming of a new start in an unfamiliar place until they decide to move house.
In episode 4, which is scheduled to air today (Dec 16th), the story of a “late bloomer” newlywed couple in Sokcho, who are about to move in after purchasing a 30-year-old old house and remodeling it for 6 months, will be depicted.
In the recent recording, Shin Dong Yup and Han Ga In shared their experiences and expressed deep sympathy with the client’s story of “overcoming burnout through collecting antique dolls”.
In particular, Han Ga In confessed, “Burnout came after I gave birth to my second child. My body ached, too. It was so hard, but I gave birth because I wanted to do it, so I couldn’t say it was hard even though it was hard. After raising children for about 1~2 years, I felt like I really got burned out.“
Earlier, Han Ga In revealed her difficult story, “I suffered 3 miscarriages in one year.“
Han Ga In calmly recalled the past when she found a breakthrough through work in a situation of mental and physical limitations, “I started an entertainment show at that point. I think I got healed while working.“
On the other hand, Shin Dong Yup caused laughter by saying, “Burnout is a luxury for me.” The story is that an incident would break out whenever Shin Dong Yup got burned out.
Shin Dong Yup added, “Every time that happens, I’ll tell myself, ‘Get a hold of yourself. You should feel thankful and happy right now.’ I’m grateful to lie down on the bed unscathedly.“
