Fans rage at “Moving” production team as lead actor Ryu Seung Ryong had to explain new episode delay himself

Actor Ryu Seung Ryong explained the delay in Disney+’s original series “Moving” releasing new episodes.

Earlier, Disney+ planned to release episodes 8 and 9 of “Moving” at 4 p.m. on August 16th. However, episodes 8 and 9 were not found on the list of new episodes even after the release time had passed. 

In this regard, the lead actor Ryu Seung Ryong posted an explanation on his SNS account, saying “There seems to be a serious error. If you press ‘play next episode’ on the play bar of episode 7, episode 8 will come up”.

Later, Disney+ issued an apology for the delay in releasing new episodes, saying “We apologize for causing inconvenience to people who have been waiting for ‘Moving’. We ask for your understanding”.

In response to the issue, netizens commented, “It’s a Korean drama but foreigners were able to watch it first?”, “I went home and turned on Disney+ at exactly 4 p.m. but couldn’t see any new episodes”, “‘Moving’ is receiving good reviews, why are you doing this?”, “Ryu Seung Ryong posted about it first. Other actors didn’t do anything”, “The lead actor handled the issue himself”, etc.

“Moving” is based on a webtoon serialized in 2015 by Kang Full. It tells the story of children living in the present while hiding their superpowers and parents hiding their painful secrets of the past. Starring Jo In Sung, Han Hyo Joo, Ryu Seung Ryong, Ryu Seung Beom, Cha Tae Hyun, Kim Sung Kyun, Kim Hee Won, Go Yoon Jung, Kim Shin Rok, and Park Hee Sun, the drama has a total of 20 episodes.

In particular, Ryu Seung Ryong plays Jang Joo Won, who can recover quickly without feeling pain. Go Yoon Jung appears as Jang Joo Won’s daughter Jang Hee Soo with the same superpower. Jo In Sung takes on the role of NIS agent Kim Doo Sik with flying skills, while Han Hyo Joo plays his wife Lee Mi Hyeon with superhuman five senses. Their son Kim Bong Sik is portrayed by Lee Jung Ha.
