BTS’s Jungkook to release second solo digital single on September 24

BTS’s main vocalist Jungkook will greet fan with a new song

Jungkook will release his second solo digital single ‘3D’ (feat. Jack Harlow) at 1 p.m. on September 29th,” his agency Big Hit Music announced on September 24th.

Earlier in July, the idol unveiled his solo “Seven” (feat. Latto) and swept the charts around the world, topping the U.S. Billboard main song chart “Hot 100” and third on the U.K.’s official chart.

After 2 months, Jungkook announced the news of his comeback. The singer launched a “3D” promotion by releasing two “Hero Film” and concept photos of “1D” version. Jungkook in “Hero Film” showed off his overwhelming aura. In the concept photos, various poses were made using straight lights installed in a minimal space.

“3D” is an R&B pop genre song that wittily unravels the heart of the other person that cannot be touched with the subject of a first, second, and third-dimensional gaze. Big Hit Music, his agency, said, “You can see Jungkook as a solo artist who has become more mature since ‘Seven’.”

The new song also features rapper Jack Harlow, who topped the Billboard Hot 100 with “First Class” and “INDUSTRY BABY” with Lil Nas X.

Jungkook appeared as the first Korean solo artist headliner at the 2023 Global Citizen Festival held at New York’s Central Park on September 24th, performed solo songs “Euphoria” and “Still With You.” He also sang “Seven” with Latto, who made a surprise appearance.

Jungkook raised the heat to the peak with a BTS medley leading to “Permission to Dance,” “Dynamite,” and “Butter,” and then surprisingly released a spoiler video of “3D” with a closing VCR. Part of the new song was first released in the VCR. Despite the short amount that lasted about 10 seconds, the trendy beat caught the ears and raised fans’ expectations.
