The agency of trot singer Oh Yu-jin revealed that they have sued a man in his 60s for stalking

On October 30th, Oh Yu-jin’s agency Totalset said, “We filed a complaint with the Mapo Police Station in August against a stalker on charges of violating the Law on the Punishment of Stalking Crimes and Defamation by spreading false information.”

They continued, “The police found the stalker guilty of defamation by spreading false information through an investigation and recently sent him to the prosecution for indictment”, adding “In addition to the above criminal case, a civil complaint filed in the name of Oh Yu-jin’s grandmother is also under review.”

The agency explained, “Stalker A defamed Oh Yu-jin by distributing false information about her family through SNS and YouTube comments during the past months. He even called Oh Yu-jin’s family several times, resulting in the family members’ anxiety and fear.”

In addition, the stalker even crossed the line as he visited Oh Yu-jin’s schools and events where she performed. Even after Oh Yu-jin filed a complaint against him, A continued posting malicious comments online.
