In addition, three outside directors with expertise in accounting, legal affairs, and investment have been newly appointed. Thus, YG plans to ensure a broader perspective and thorough review in important decision-making processes through securing the expertise and diversity required for the board, laying the foundation for sustainable growth.

At this board meeting, the resolution for transitioning to a sole CEO system was also approved. Thus, YG will be reorganized under a sole CEO system led by Yang Min-seok. Yang Min-seok emphasized, “The decisions made at this board meeting will play a crucial role in YG’s innovation and enhancing global competitiveness.”

Following the establishment of the shareholder return policy announced in February, YG aims to enhance shareholder and investor trust through this management structure change, contributing to sustainable growth and long-term value creation.

This year, YG will kick off the full-fledged domestic and international activities of BABYMONSTER. TREASURE is scheduled for an Asia tour following the successful completion of their Japan tour in March.

Furthermore, preparations are underway for various projects and overseas market expansion in celebration of the 10th anniversary of AKMU. They will also detail the activities of BLACKPINK. Additionally, plans include a project to discover and nurture global rookies through local auditions in Japan and Thailand.
