Actress Yeonwoo personally explained the rumor of a romantic relationship with Lee Min-ho that erupted last year.
On the 14th, actress Yeonwoo did an interview to end MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama “The Golden Spoon”, a story of a poor child gaining a life-altering golden spoon by switching his life with that of a rich friend. In the drama, Yeonwoo plays Oh Yeo-jin, a spoiled rich kid with everything but is never satisfied.
In August 2021, rumors circulated that Yeonwoo was dating Lee Min-ho for five months after they met on Yeon-woo’s birthday and spent some time together. COVID-19 allowed brought them closer by a shared interest in games.
In light of the rumors, Yeonwoo’s agency denied that the allegation, saying their relationship was that of “seniors and juniors.” Lee Min-ho’s agency also refuted the news of them going to the movie together, stating that there was also an acquaintance.
While it was in fact that Yeonwoo became close with Lee Minho through games, the rumors were “a misunderstanding,” she said. “I was embarrassed because it was my first time experiencing it. It’s not true at all. I had a headache in the morning after the romance rumor,” the actress strongly denied the rumor.
Currently, Yeonwoo is playing less games these days to focus on honing her acting skills, as suggested by the CEO of her company.
