Yang Hye Ji and Kim Tae Ri become friends in Kim Eun Hee’s new drama “Ghost”

Actress Yang Hye Ji will be joining Kim Tae Ri in the upcoming SBS drama “Ghost” (working title). 

According to a coverage from Ten Asia on December 5th, Yang Hye Ji will join the cast of the new SBS drama “Ghost” (or “악귀”, working title).

In the drama, Yang Hye Ji will assume the role of Baek Se Mi, a high school classmate of Goo San Yeong (Kim Tae Ri). She is preparing to become a civil servant alongside her “soulmate” and best friend Goo San Yeong. 

“Ghost” is an occult mystery thriller drama, in which a woman possessed by a demon and a man who can see the demon dig into the mysterious deaths surrounding five bodies.

The drama is a new work written by Kim Eun Hee, who is working with SBS for the first time in 9 years since “Three Days”. It will also be directed by Lee Jeong Rim of “VIP”, and feature Kim Tae Ri, Oh Jung Se, and Hong Kyung as cast members.

On the other hand, Yang Hye Ji made her debut in season 2 of the web-drama “Secret Crushes”. She has since starred in various projects such as “The Rich Son”, “Big Issue”, “When the Weather Is Fine”, “Live On”, and “Nevertheless”. Now, attention is being focused on what kind of appearance Yang Hye Ji will show in “Ghost”.

Meanwhile, “Ghost” is planned to air within 2023.
