Witty message left by BTS’s Jin before enlisting today that made fans burst into laughter

BTS’s Jin left a cute message for fans before enlisting in the army.

On the morning of December 13, ahead of his enlistment, BTS’s Jin greeted his fans, ARMYs, on the fan community Weverse by posting a short message with only 10 letters in Korean that read, “Now it’s curtain call time.”

Curtain call is a term that refers to the appearance of performers after a performance in response to the applause of the audience, but the meaning used by Jin in this context is slightly different.

The message Jin sent to the fans is a line by ‘Jhin’, the long-distance dealer champion from League of Legends.

Using the same name as the character in the game, he sent a witty farewell message to the fans. Jin also added an explanation, “I wanted to try (this line) when I go to the army. It’s a line from the game character Jhin.”

Netizens showed reactions such as “As expected from Jin”, “Even the moment he leaves, he is cool”, “Jin is such a game fan”.

Meanwhile, Jin enters the 5th Division Recruit Training Center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province this afternoon. After completing 5 weeks of basic military training, he will be deployed as an active-duty soldier in the army. To prevent accidents, Jin will enter the precincts of the boot camp in a vehicle without a separate greeting.
