TWICE Jihyo’s Upcoming Solo Album “ZONE” Selected as Must-Hear by the Grammy Awards

TWICE’s Jihyo has unveiled a partial preview of the title track “Killin’ Me Good” from her first solo album.

This August 18th, TWICE Jihyo will release her first mini album “ZONE” featuring the title track “Killin’ Me Good,” marking her debut as a soloist. 

On August 1st (local time), the Grammy Awards introduced “15 Must-Hear Albums This August: Jon Batiste, Jihyo, The Hives & More” on their website and included Jihyo’s album “ZONE.”

The Grammy Awards praised Jihyo as an artist with passionate, energetic performances and powerful vocals. They highlighted that “TWICE, one of the biggest K-pop girl groups receiving immense acclaim in history, has begun to expand their talents through solo and unit activities. Now, leader Jihyo is set to showcase her unique colors to the world through her solo debut.

Additionally, JYP Entertainment has released a snippet of the title track “Killin’ Me Good,” featuring part of the intense lyrics and captivating voice of Jihyo. Prior to this, TWICE’s official social media channels shared a teaser with instrument sounds, accompanied by Jihyo’s vocals, heightening fans’ anticipation.

The title track “Killin’ Me Good,” which truly embodies Jihyo’s color, was co-written by Park Jin Young and famous writers such as Melanie Fontana, Lindgren, and Marcus Lomax. With its catchy and groovy sound and Jihyo’s rich vocals, the song is expected to satisfy the tastes of fans.

Jihyo’s first mini album “ZONE” and the title track “Killin’ Me Good” will be officially released on August 18th at 1 PM KST (midnight EST).
