Treasure Jihoon “Treasure’s contribution? About 3 windows on the 9th floor of YG’s new building” (Radio Show)
Treasure appeared on “Park Myung Soo’s Radio Show”.
On KBS Cool FM’s “Park Myung Soo’s Radio Show”, which aired on August 4th (Friday), Treasure (Choi Hyunsuk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Yoon Jaehyuk, Asahi, Doyoung, Haruto, Park Jeongwoo, So Junghwan) introduced and talked about their new album.
DJ Park Myung Soo said, “10 people made video calls with me, but not all of them will like me. It seems that only a few people like me. I heard that there’s a person who likes my song ‘Naengmyeon’ so much.” Treasure members picked Yoon Jaehyuk. Jihoon also confessed, “I performed ‘Naengmyeon’ on ‘SBS Inkigayo’. I’m a big fan of yours.“
Regarding Treasure’s 2nd full-length album “REBOOT”, leader Choi Hyunsuk introduced, “It contains 10 songs that all the members worked hard on for 10 months. Many members participated in composing and writing lyrics for these songs. Especially, some members participated for the first time, so I think it’s a gift-like comeback for fans.“
Regarding the title song “BONA BONA”, Jihoon explained, “It’s a song that can show Treasure’s unique strong image, reminiscent of a marching band.“
Afterwards, Park Myung Soo asked, “As far as I know, there are BLACKPINK and other teams, but Treasure is making a lot of profits. Is it an exaggeration to say that Treasure feeds YG?” Jihoon replied, “The new company building has 5 basement floors and 9 ground floors. Treasure seems to have contributed about 5 windows on the first floor.“
When Park Myung Soo said “The first floor of the building is the most expensive“, Jihoon caused laughter as he reversed, “Then, 3 windows on the ninth floor.”
Choi Hyunsuk emphasized, “We’re working hard. I don’t think our blood, sweat and efforts will betray us.”
To Park Myung Soo’s question “How does the company treat you? I went to YG’s office building before. I went there and recorded with GD. The canteen was amazing. Are you still using that building?“, Choi Hyunsuk answered, “No. A new building was built. Right next to the original building.”
When Park Myung Soo asked “How about the new canteen?“, the members shared, “The aunts who were there at that time are still there. The new canteen is bigger, and there’s a new rice noodle place.” When Park Myung Soo asked “Do you just eat rice noodles or have to pay for it?“, the members replied, “We pay for it.” Hearing this, Park Myung Soo responded “Why do you have to pay for it? I’ll tell Hyun Suk (Yang Hyun Suk)“, making everyone burst into laughter again.
