Actor Choi Cheol-ho got arrested for making a riot while drunk

Actor Choi Cheol-ho (52) was arrested in the act for making a fuss in a villa in Gangnam-gu, Seoul while drunk.

The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced on March 3rd that it was investigating Choi on charges of house-trespassing at around 1:32 AM.

Choi is accused of entering a villa building in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul at around 0:40 AM that day, knocking on the door and screaming.

Choi was arrested in the act for refusing to comply with the eviction request of the police, who were dispatched after receiving a report from a resident.

According to the police, Choi reportedly stated that he went to meet the company CEO living in the building.

At the time of arrest, it was confirmed that Choi was drunk. However, there was no damage other than knocking on the door and screaming.

A police official said, “After arresting the offender in the act, we are investigating the case.”

Meanwhile, Choi made his debut as an actor in 1990 and made his name known by playing the role of Shin Ma-jeok in the 2002 drama “Rustic Period“. Afterwards, he appeared in various works such as “Immortal Admiral Yi Sun-sin“, “Dae Jo-yeong” and “Queen of Housewives“. However, he has gone downhill since 2010 due to the controversy over assaulting female juniors.

Choi revealed through a show that he is currently serving as a public relations director for a cruise company run by an acquaintance.
