The reasons for the separation of HYBE America’s CEO, Scooter Braun, and affiliated celebrities have been revealed.
On August 30th (local time), US Weekly reported, “The decisive reason for Justin Bieber and Scooter Braun’s breakup is Hailey Bieber.”
Earlier this month, when news of Bieber and Braun’s breakup was announced, Bieber’s side denied it. However, on August 18th, their separation was officially confirmed. Bieber is currently in search of a new management.
Bieber’s close associate said, “Braun used to handle everything behind the scenes for all clients, but now seems to have forgotten how to drive. When Braun didn’t show up for rehearsals or concerts like before, Hailey suggested to Justin that he should change his manager.”
The shocking reason for Bieber and Braun’s separation is that Braun was the person who made Bieber a star. In 2019, when Braun faced criticism for purchasing Taylor Swift’s music master rights, Bieber also defended him.
After parting ways with Bieber, Braun also lost other famous artists such as Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Cali Rae Jepsen, J Balvin, and Edina Menzel.
While some speculated that he was too busy with new business ventures as CEO of HYBE America, another associate denied this. He claimed, “The Braun team at SB Project is exploring new ventures and still managing Bieber and Grande.”
However, the associate who mentioned that Braun had changed from before warned, “It’s only a matter of time before Braun loses more celebrities in the future.”
In 2021, HYBE acquired Itaca Holdings for $1.05 billion. Afterward, they rebranded as HYBE America and appointed Braun as CEO. However, there were no significant achievements afterward, and HYBE’s fan communication application, Weverse, did not include SB Project members.
