The reason Kim Tae-ri got embarrassed and collapsed while filming a famous scene in “Twenty-five Twenty-one” with Nam Joo-hyuk
The behind footage of Kim Tae-ri and Nam Joo-hyuk’s legendary scene in “Twenty-five Twenty-one” episode 3 has been released.
On February 23rd, a making video of tvN’s drama “Twenty-five Twenty-one” was uploaded on the Youtube channel “tvN drama”. The viewers can check behind footage of the scenes in episode 3 that excited them the most.
That was the scene when Na Hee-do (Kim Tae-ri) almost fell down while running in slippers. Baek Yi-jin (Nam Joo-hyuk) accidentally found Hee-do and followed her. He caught her just in time, so that’s why Hee-do didn’t fall.
How did the two shoot this heart-fluttering and emotional scene?
Kim Tae-ri and Nam Joo-hyuk worked on the scene together in several ways.
The two tried filming it in a natural way, such as grabbing Kim Tae-ri’s bag or a touchdown. However, Kim Tae-ri fell when Nam Joo-hyuk did the touchdown. It was not easy to film a realistic scene at all.
Before the full-fledged filming, Kim Tae-ri gave a serious idea. She told Nam Joo-hyuk, “You have to grab me before my butt touches the ground”.
Nam Joo-hyuk began filming with nervousness and they failed in the first attempt. Nam couldn’t catch Kim Tae-ri when she was falling. In the end, only Kim Tae-ri fell down.
“I’m so embarrassed”, Kim Tae-ri collapsed and couldn’t raise her head. She then reflected on herself, saying “It was my fault”. She said she should have fallen in a way that is easier for Nam Joo-hyuk to grab her.
They succeeded in the second take. Thanks to their teamwork, the two were able to create a legendary scene. Kim Tae-ri and Nam Joo-hyuk monitored the scene again after they filmed it. The two complimented each other, “You grabbed me well” and “Good job”.
