The official video for AKMU X Lee Seon-hee’s “Battlefield” has been released ahead of schedule

On July 21, AKMU surprisingly pre-released the official video for the new song ‘Battlefield’ starring Lee Seon-hee included in the new album [NEXT EPISODE].

This is the first chapter of the story AKMU will delivery. In addition, fans’ expectations are skyrocketing as this is a special album featuring many famous artists in Korea.

The official video for ‘Battlefield’ depicts the lives of adults through the perspective of youngsters. Despite the absence of blood and bullets, complex feelings such as frustration and despair in a setting reminiscent of war, as well as a yearning for a tranquil everyday existence, are shown.

Using cinematography, scenes with poetic analogies are constructed in a black and white atmosphere, accentuating the paradoxical message. Lee Soo-hyun also encounters a kid actor who looks precisely like her at the end of the video, leaving an indelible memory.
