“The Glory” Cha Joo Young, “I recently met Song Hye Kyo, Lim Ji Yeon, Kim Hieora and we spent 250,000 won on meat”

Actress Cha Joo Young showed off her easygoing personality on “Omniscient Interfering View”.

The broadcast of MBC’s entertainment program “Omniscient Interfering View” on April 8th featured Cha Joo Young, who has firmly established her name as a rising actress with her villain acting performance as stewardess Hye Jung in Netflix’s original series “The Glory”.

Unlike her character Choi Hye Jung in “The Glory”, who is obsessed with power and money through injustice acts, Cha Joo Young introduced herself in a dignified tone rather than the fierce one she used when acting in the drama and surprised everyone with her skinny appearance.

Cha Joo Young is currently starring in KBS 2TV’s weekend drama “The Real Has Come!” as Jang Se Jin, a greedy secretary of a chaebol family. 

The actress, who practiced her lines and gained motivation in acting through watching American dramas, was seen having a friendly conversation with her manager, a former rapper, and sharing her unique music taste. This charm makes viewers become more interested in Cha Joo Young.

In addition, “Omniscient Interfering View” also showed Cha Joo Young meeting some girl fans on the filming set. The way they got excited when seeing each other and expressed gratitude created a warm scene.

Another unexpected side of Cha Joo Young is that she often visits temples. Apart from the religious aspect, the actress boasted about her comfortable and friendly relationship with the monks. She also amazed everyone when revealing her wild hobbies, such as riding a bike to the temples.

Cha Joo Young then talked about her close friendship with “The Glory” cast. According to the actress, she often gathered with the “villain” actors Lim Ji Yeon, Jeon Jae Joon, Kim Gun Woo, and Kim Hieora and even brought them to her favorite BBQ restaurant.

She shared, “I ate a lot with my friends. We ate rice even after finishing 2kg of meat”. Upon hearing that, her manager Lee Chang Min commented, “She came with actresses who played Lee Sa Ra and Park Yeon Jin in ‘The Glory’. As I know, they spent 250,000 won on the meal and ate for 2 hours.”

Cha Joo Young added, “In fact, I met Lim Ji Yeon, Kim Hieora and Song Hye Kyo at a BQQ restaurant not long ago. Since everyone was so busy, we only ate meet”.
