The main poster and trailer for the Netflix series ‘Lee Doo-na!’ have been released.
The Netflix original series “Lee Doo-na!” is a romance drama about ordinary college student Won-jun (played by Yang Se-jong) who meets retired Kpop idol Doo-na (played by Bae Suzy) at a shared house.
The main poster was unveiled ahead of the release, showing the moment when Doo-na and Won-jun crossed the house mate’s line and became close. Won-jun looks at Doo-na approaching with her eyes closed. He is in a complicated situation because he can’t tell her true feelings, but still falls into the excitement that feels like his heart is going to explode.
The trailer released together captures Doo-na and Won-jun entering each other’s spaces and daily lives, including a shared house where the two live together, a quiet neighborhood, and Won-jun’s school. Doo-na, who was lonely without a place to lean on, meets Won-jun at the shared house and feels strangely comfortable. Doo-na suddenly visits Won-jun’s classroom and embarrasses Won-jun, saying, “Let’s eat together,” and Won-jun starts to get annoyed but strangely excited about such Doo-na.
Won-jun, whose daily life and mind are disturbed by Doo-na’s irresistibly approaching, says in the trailer, “I don’t know why I keep getting ambitious,” and confesses his honest feelings as if he were complaining to Doo-na, who he wants to know and have. Meanwhile, Doo-na regains her laughter thanks to Won-jun and gradually grows fond of him. The trailer even features Doo-na opening her eyes with a strange voice calling her at the end, arousing curiosity about what unpredictable narrative will unfold.
The youth romance drama full of excitement and curiosity will be released on Netflix on October 20th.
