The prices of accessories worn by top female stars at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards have been unveiled.
Song Hye Kyo, Suzy, and IU, among many others, attended the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards, which was held in Paradise City, Incheon on April 28th.
On that day, Song Hye Kyo wore earrings from the luxury brand Chaumet, which she is an ambassador for. These earrings are priced at 150 million KRW (around 113,000 USD), while the eye-catching ring done by Song Hye Kyo is said to cost around 50 million KRW. The prices of the actress’ two accessories thus total to over 200 million KRW.
Meanwhile, Suzy, who participated as an MC of the ceremony, wore a diamond necklace weighing over 20 carats. It is reported that her necklace’s price cannot be set.
At the same time, IU showcased her luxurious style by wearing a necklace, ring, and earrings with ribbon-shaped decorations. The necklace costs 150 million KRW, the earrings 30 million KRW, and the ring 22 million KRW.
Finally, a watch worn by Kim Tae Ri is known to cost around 100 million KRW.
Regarding the luxury accessories worn by top stars, industry insiders explained, “Because it is based on marketing, it is a win-win relationship for both stars and companies. When stars wear expensive jewelry, they also hire professional guards.”
