SEVENTEEN Donate To Korean National Commission for UNESCO On 9th Debut Anniversary
The boy group SEVENTEEN celebrated their 9th debut anniversary by donating to a UNESCO educational campaign
On May 28th, Pledis Entertainment revealed that SEVENTEEN had donated to the Korean National Commission for UNESCO to create a global educational environment in celebration of the group’s 9th debut anniversary.
The donation will be used in the educational campaigns “Going Together” and “UNESCO’s International Forum ‘Future of Education’” hosted by SEVENTEEN and the Korean National Commission for UNESCO. Through their agency, SEVENTEEN said, “We are grateful to be able to participate in such a meaningful event on SEVENTEEN’s debut anniversary. It’s such a great reward to us”.
SEVENTEEN has been engaged in donation activities several times. The group has been sharing love with underprivileged children around the world, child abuse victims, as well as children and adolescents from vulnerable groups on their debut anniversary (May 26th) every year.
Since August 2022, SEVENTEEN has been promoting the importance of education through the campaign “Going Together”.
