Red Velvet’s Irene Promotes Solo Activities in Full after Attitude Scandal

Fans of Red Velvet’s Irene are cheering after news of the female idol’s upcoming solo activities is confirmed.

As a leading beauty in K-pop, Red Velvet’s Irene once had a promising future, abundant resources, and many opportunities to collaborate with major brands. However, Irene’s career came to a halt and suffered setbacks when a fashion editor accused her of verbally abusing staff, being arrogant, and exhibiting the “celebrity disease”.

In the past 2 years, Irene has continued to work with Red Velvet, but her personal reputation has significantly declined. Compared to other idols of the same generation, the “top visual of gen 3” is no longer at the peak as she used to be.

Irene’s reputation has been heavily affected by her attitude scandal.

More than 3 years since the shocking attitude scandal, Irene has finally been returned to activities in full, even kickstarting solo schedules. Most recently, the female idol held a solo exhibition and released a photo book capturing her everyday moments, yet still exuding beauty. In addition, she also released a new song to promote this project. The song is titled “I feel pretty”.

Furthermore, Red Velvet’s YouTube channel has been continuously posting Irene’s solo clips after a period of relative silence. Not stopping there, according to SM’s report, Irene will have two comebacks at the end of the year: one with Red Velvet and the other will be her own mini album. After Seulgi, Wendy, and Joy, Irene will be the 4th member of Red Velvet to release a solo album.

Despite the attitude scandal 3 years ago affecting Irene’s reputation, the female idol still loves her profession and values her fans. And now, she is officially being promoted continuously to compensate for the time when her activities were “frozen”, and of course, the fans are always there, ready to support Irene!
