Ra Mi Ran presents tearful acting in “The Good Bad Mother”, looking at camera, not Lee Do Hyun?

“The Good Bad Mother”, which showcases the contrasting acting spectrum of actors Ra Mi Ran and Lee Do Hyun, is gaining popularity.

The 4th episode of JTBC’s drama “The Good Bad Mother”, which aired on May 4th, reached its highest ratings with 7.0% nationwide and 7.6% in the metropolitan area (according to Nielsen Korea), ranking first in its time slot.

In “The Good Bad Mother”, Choi Kang Ho (played by Lee Do Hyun) wakes up from a coma caused by a traffic accident, only to find himself with the cognitive abilities of a 7-year-old.

His mother, Jin Young Soon (played by Ra Mi Ran), visited the hospital upon hearing the news of Choi Kang Ho’s accident, and burst into tears upon seeing her son in a coma.

On May 5th, a behind-the-scenes video of episodes 3 and 4 of “The Good Bad Mother” was released on the YouTube channel “JTBC Drama”, showing the making of this particularly emotional scene. 

In the drama, Jin Young Soon grabs Choi Kang Ho’s shoulder and cries out, “Kang Ho, can you recognize your mom?“. However, in reality, the scene was acted out as Ra Mi Ran held the camera.

It can be seen that Ra Mi Ran held the camera, shed tears, and delivered her lines, showing off her perfect acting skills while wiping away tears.

Netizens who saw the making-of video reacted with comments such as “Actors are really amazing”, “How can they act emotionally while looking at the camera?”, and “Only words about their incredible acting skills are coming out.”
