Liz’s Basic Information
Liz was born in Jeju, South Korea, and is known to have a younger brother born in 2006.
She passed the audition to Starship Entertainment in 2019, and was supposed to participate on the idol survival show “Produce 48”, but did not.
Liz is the 4th member to be revealed as a part of IVE’s lineup, attracting huge attention with her profile release. According to fellow member Gaeul, Liz appears shy and quiet when first meeting people, but becomes outgoing once she becomes familiar with others.
Liz’s stage name is based on Elizabeth from the classic novel “Pride and Prejudice”. According to the female idol, this is because she wants to be elegant and have high self-confidence like this character.
Liz’s Career
Before entering Starship, Liz appeared in the MV for Taeyeon’s 2017 song “This Christmas”.
In November 2021, Liz was revealed as the 4th member of Starship’s girl group IVE. IVE eventually debuted in December of the same year with their 1st single album “Eleven”.
