Nana revealed the truth of her “full-body tattoos” that turned the online community and SNS upside down
Singer and actor Nana mentioned her tattoos which have been a hot issue online, drawing attention.
At 11 a.m. on Sep 27th, a production presentation for Netflix’s original “Glitch” was held at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Director Noh Deok, actors Jeon Yeo-bin and Nana attended the event to talk about the upcoming work.
During the event, Nana said, “I was grateful that I could collaborate with Director Noh Deok and Director Jin Han-sae. I read the script in complete trust, and I felt a fresh and interesting feeling that I could handle this kind of material like this,” she said, revealing the reason why she decided to appear in “Glitch.”
“I read the whole script in one sit because I was curious about the next episodes the day I received the script. There are many different characters in it, and I felt that I wanted to try the adventure of each and going through it.”
Nana is said to give a lot of opinions on her character’s outfit and tattoo. She shared, “Bora has a lot of tattoos on her body, and I wanted to give meaning to them. So I chose those words after a lot of thoughts. Also, Bora uses a lot of slang in “Glitch.” I thought it would be worthwhile to put the slang into the tattoo, so I also suggested such an opinion,” she said.
Earlier on the morning of Sep 20th, Nana attended a production briefing press conference for the movie “Confession” at Lotte Cinema Konkuk University Entrance in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, drawing attention by revealing the tattoos engraved on her entire body.
In this regard, Nana said, “I didn’t become interested in tattoos because of Bora. It’s just a tattoo that I wanted to do,” she said. “If I have a chance later, I hope I can tell you why I got these tattoos,” she said, adding an ambiguous sentence, “I don’t know if that day will come or not,” drawing attention.
Meanwhile, Netflix’s “Glitch” is a Netflix series about Jihyo (Jeon Yeo-bin) who sees aliens and Bora (Nana), who is tracking down those aliens following the whereabouts of Jihyo’s boyfriend who disappeared without a trace. The show will be released on October 7th.
