Song Ji-hyo and Kim Jong-kook considered each other “family-like existence” and made it clear that they had no feelings between a male and a female for each other.
Song Ji-hyo appeared as a guest on KBS 2TV’s “Problem Child in House”, which aired on April 20th, and answered some questions..
As Kim Yong-man and Jung Hyung-don dropped out of “Problem Child in House” when the show was reorganized, Kim Jong-kook joined as the new MC. Therefore, Song Ji-hyo, who has worked with Kim Jong-kook for a long time in “Running Man”, appeared as a guest to support him.
Kim Sook asked Kim Jong-kook and Song Ji-hyo, “Do you two have any feelings for each other as a man and a woman?”.
Song Ji-hyo then frankly asked Kim Jong-kook, “Have I ever made your heart flutter?”. In response, Kim Jong-kook said, “I have never felt that way”.
He added, “Can I say we’re like family members. That’s really what I think. Song Ji-hyo is a person who I still lose her temper even when I say I’m sorry”.
Song Ji-hyo agreed, “Me, too. I tell Kim Jong-kook everything that I can’t tell others… even to the point that Kim Jong-kook asked me, ‘Why are you angry at me?’. That’s because I have no other place to release my anger”.

Song Ji-hyo also revealed her special relationship with Kim Jong-kook’s mother on the show. Song Ji-hyo said while recalling, “I once left the country on the same flight as Kim Jong-kook. I moved because the seat monitor was broken, and Kim Jong-kook and his mother were there.”
She continued, “The door of the plane was not properly closed and oxygen was drained, but Kim Jong-kook was sleeping. So I took his surprised mother and moved her seat. Because of that incident, I developed a special relationship with his mother.”

What Kim Jong-kook and Song Ji-hyo have in common is their frugality. Song Ji-hyo, who doesn’t spend on skincare, said, “I use cosmetics that I receive as gifts from modeling. I don’t really pour money into myself. I’m happiest when I buy expensive toys for my dog.”
In addition, she surprised everyone by confessing, “I give my earnings to my mother and receive pocket money.”
