Park Hyungsik and Park Boyoung recently reunited after 6 years and created a buzz
Back in 2017, fans of K-drama went crazy for “Strong Woman Do Bongsoon” leading couple Park Boyoung and Park Hyungsik and their lovely, convincing chemistry. Their characters Do Bongsoon and Ahn Minhyuk’s chemistry was so believable that real-life dating rumors surfaced.
Park Hyungsik openly expressed his affection for Park Boyoung upon the end of “Strong Woman Do Bongsoon”, saying, “I genuinely fell for you, Park Boyoung noona. You were absolutely lovable and the perfect Bongsoon. It was natural for me to love you. I wanted to love you more, but I’m saddened that it’s over.”
Park Boyoung also secretly harbored a crush on Park Hyungsik even before they met. To this day, she fondly describes him as warmhearted and sweet, admitting she was a fan of his since his idol days as a member of ZE:A.
Six years after the end of “Strong Woman Do Bongsoon”, the two recently reunited as Ahn Minhyuk and Do Bongsoon for the spin-off drama “Strong Girl Namsoon”. Park Boyoung celebrated the reunion by sharing a selfie alongside Park Hyungsik. Park Hyungsik also did the same.
But what caught the attention of fans was the song used by Park Hyungsik in his post. He added BTS V’s “For Us” as the background music.
The heartfelt lyrics that read “I’m still waiting for you/ Will you change your mind? I would give it all up for us/ I wish I could stay with you” seem to mirror the real-life connection between Park Hyungsik and Park Boyoung.
It left fans wondering if Park Hyungsik is subtly conveying that he still has feelings and waiting for her to return those feelings.
