Global pop star Ariana Grande and real estate agent Dalton Gomez have settled their divorce, Page Six reported on October 6th (local time)
Page Six said, “Ariana and Dalton really wanted to take care of each through all of this and make it as easy on one another as possible — which is why they really took their time with everything.”
The separation date listed in the divorce papers was Feb. 20, but the two did not file for divorce until last month.
According to the source the two have a strong mutual respect for each other.
Reportedly, instead of paying monthly spousal support, Grande decided to pay Gomez upfront, which was a better financial arrangement for her ex-husband.
Grande had previously requested that all common property in the marriage be divided under the prenup agreement.
Laura Wasser, a well-known lawyer who defended Grande, cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce.
Grande, meanwhile, began dating married actor Ethan Slater while they were both filming “Wicked” in the UK. Slater also filed for divorce from his wife Lily Jay in July.
Grande and Slater are now reported to be living together in New York.
