On December 30 of last year, the 2023 MBC Drama Awards was held in Seoul, Korea. Here, Park Gyu-young was recognized for her outstanding performance in the drama “A Good Day to Be a Dog”, and won the Best Actress Award in the mini-series category.

Park Gyu-young played the female lead Han Hae-na in “A Good Day to Be a Dog”, which premiered in October last year. Portraying a character cursed to turn into a dog when kissed, she showcased a high synchronization rate with the character from the original webtoon.
Known for her bright energy and the ability to bring a smile to viewers’ faces, she received positive reviews, leading to her winning the Best Actress award in the mini-series category.
On the same day, Park Gyu-young also appeared as the MC for the 2023 MBC Drama Awards, marking her first attempt at hosting an awards ceremony. Despite it being her first time as an MC, she delivered a stable and clean presentation, receiving applause from the audience.
From the Netflix series “Celebrity” and “Sweet Home Season 2” to MBC’s “A Good Day to Be a Dog”, Park Gyu-young garnered global attention in 2023, building her filmography. With this, expectations for Park Gyu-young in 2024 are even higher.
