NewJeans’ 2023 Season’s Greetings Relaunched Because of Overwhelming Demand

The popularity of NewJeans has transcended national borders and expanded into the mainstream pop market, leading to an unprecedented phenomenon.

Fans have requested for the return of their 2023 Season’s Greetings, and NewJeans has decided to re-release it due to overwhelming demand.

ADOR, NewJeans’s management label, announced on March 24th via the fan community Weverse and fan communication app Phoning, that the “NewJeans 2023 Season’s Greetings” will be re-released on April 14th.

The decision was made in response to fans’ requests for additional sales as the original 2023 Season’s Greetings, which was released in December 2022, sold out immediately, causing a shortage among global fans.

NewJeans’ 2023 season’s greetings include a calendar, diary, playing cards, and a photo book. The playing cards became incredibly popular among fans and even went viral among non-fans.

It is rare for a season’s greeting, typically in high demand during the end-of-year season, to be re-released only four months after its initial release. This is possible because NewJeans is a K-pop group that has taken the world by storm, dominating the music charts both domestically and internationally.

NewJeans has been occupying the top spots of various music charts for several months, from their debut songs “Hype Boy” and “Attention” to their latest single album’s title track, “OMG,” and the track “Ditto” that is featured in the same album.

Particularly, “Ditto” has set a new record for the longest consecutive period at the top spot of Melon’s weekly chart, boasting the largest market share in the domestic music market. Thanks to their popularity, NewJeans’ debut album “NewJeans” and single album “OMG” both sold more than one million copies.
