Netflix issued an apology related to the “Midterm Exam” event held prior to the release of “The Glory” Part 2.
On March 9th, Netflix’s official Instagram account posted a notice, saying “This is an announcement regarding the ‘1st The Glory Real-time Midterm Exam’ event that was unable to proceed normally due to server overload caused by a traffic surge on March 3rd. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience that occurred during the event.”
Earlier at 9 p.m. on March 3rd, Netflix held “The Glory Part 1 Midterm Exam” event in anticipation of “The Glory 2” release. However, the server crashed due to an overload of accesses, causing inconvenience to event participants.
Therefore, Netflix announced, “We could not get accurate exam results”, stating that they would give prizes through a lottery among those who have completed the exam, instead of based on their score,
In addition, Netflix stated, “We will hold the second regular midterm exam event until the 19th for those who were unable to take the exam due to server overload, and we will contact the prize winners individually on the 22nd.”
