NCT’s Taeyong Unveiled Handwritten Letter Before Enlistment, “I Will Return to Stage as a Better Version of Myself”
Taeyong, a member of boy group NCT, expressed his thoughts ahead of his military enlistment through a heartfelt handwritten letter.
On the afternoon of March 18, NCT’s Taeyong published a handwritten letter addressed to fans, which reveals his thoughts and emotions ahead of military enlistment.
In particular, the male idol wrote, “It feels like just yesterday that 2024 began, but before I knew it, spring had already arrived. The reason I’m writing this letter is because I will be fulfilling my military duty starting April 15”.
He continued, “I think some of you have been preparing your hearts for the time we have to be apart, and some of you may be surprised. So, I wanted to tell the fans directly”, adding, “Looking back at the time so far, I was able to mature a lot thanks to all of you and the members. Every moment has been truly meaningful and happy. I am grateful for the precious and shining moments you have given me.”
Finally, Taeyong wrote, “I still have many things I want to achieve with the members and fans in the future, so I will work hard during my military service and learn many things. When I come back, I will stand on stage as a better version of myself. I promise. Haven’t we grown up proudly together? That’s why it’s more affectionate and precious. I feel like I’ll miss you a lot. I’ll be back soon, so I hope you all stay healthy and well. I’ll be back before you know it”.
Meanwhile, according to his agency SM Entertainment, Taeyong will join the Korean navy and start his military enlistment on April 15.
