“My Lovely Liar” drops main poster showing Kim So Hyun & Hwang Min Hyun’s ‘deep romance’ chemistry
Kim So Hyun and Hwang Min Hyun will become each other’s life savior in the new tvN’s series “My Lovely Liar”.
On July 5th, the production team of tvN’s new Mon-Tue “My Lovely Liar” (directed by Nam Sung Woo/ written by Seo Jung Eun) revealed “deep romance main poster”, heralding a special narrative of Mok Sol Hee (Kim So Hyun) and Kim Do Ha (Hwang Min Hyun). The two’s super-close eye contact stimulates fans’ excitement and raises expectations.
“My Lovely Liar” tells a truth-seeking romance between ‘liar hunter’ Mok Sol Hee, who can’t believe anyone because of her special ability to hear lies, and genius composer Kim Do Ha, who hides his identity. The drama is expected to provide a variety of fun by combining romance and mystery to create a realistic fantasy story.
Kim So Hyun will transform into ‘liar hunter’ Mok Sol Hee, who suspects everyone as she grew up hearing all kinds of lies in the world. This character faces a new phase in her life after getting involved with Kim Do Ha, the suspicious man living next door. Hwang Min Hyun will portray the mysterious star composer Kim Do Ha. Despite having genius composing ability, he chooses to live as a faceless composer. However, Do Ha begins to recover from his trauma and finds his lost smile after meeting Mok Sol Hee, the strange woman next door.
The posters and teaser videos released earlier give a glimpse of the special relationship between Mok Sol Hee, who can hear lies, and Kim Do Ha, who hides the truth. The main poster with the “deep romance” concept shows a more intimate atmosphere between the two and arouses fans’ curiosity about their love story.
The scene of Mok Sol Hee and Kim Do Ha only looking at each other at a close distance excites drama viewers. Despite having the ability to make any lie become useless, Mok Sol Hee is attracted by Kim Do Ha, the only person whose lies she cannot detect. Therefore, she carefully reaches out her hand to Do Ha and shows her sincerity to understand Do Ha’s hidden emotions. Do Ha’s romantic look at Sol Hee as if he wants to tell her something also caught the eyes of fans.
The phrase, “I can hear you, your truth”, written on the poster makes viewers wonder what truth she has found out and what changes would it bring to the life of Kim Do Ha, who hides his existence from the world and focuses only on music. Expectations are also high for the story surrounding the two as they become each other’s saviors in the suspicious and strange neighborhood.

“My Lovely Liar” will premiere at 8:50 p.m. on July 31st.
