Disney+’s series “Moving” won Best Creative at the 2023 Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards

On Oct 8th, the 2023 Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards was held at the outdoor theater of the Busan Cinema Center in Haeundae-gu, Busan. Actor Kim Kang-woo and Momoland’s Nancy hosted the event.

The Best Creative award is given to the work that achieved the most remarkable results. Among the competing works such as “The Glory“, “Moving“, “Little Women”, “Special Ops: Lioness” and “The Long Season”, “Moving” was selected as the winning work.

Director Park In-je, who directed “Moving”, shared his thoughts, “I would like to thank the staff who worked hard for 11 months. I would like to extend this honor to Studio&NEW’s CEO Jang Kyung-ik, writer Kang Full and wonderful actors who showed great performances. I want to express my gratitude to everyone who appeared in the ending credits.”

Next, NEW’s Chairman Kim Woo-taek said, “4 years ago, when we decided to make a Korean superhero series with the largest production budget in Korea, there were many concerns and difficulties. I am thankful that we were able to present such a wonderful work to the world.”

He continued, “There are many people to be thankful for. First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to Disney+, which beautifully distributed this drama worldwide. I deeply thank writer Kang Full, director Park In-je, director Park Youn-seo, the actors, including Jo In-sung, Han Hyo-joo, Ryoo Seung-bum, Lee Jung-ha and Go Yoon-jung, as well as the hardworking staff.

Chairman Kim added, “In the future, NEW will continue to challenge itself to create K-content that is loved all over the world. Lastly, I would like to thank viewers from all over the world who have loved ‘Moving’.

The 2023 Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards is an awards ceremony for outstanding TV, OTT and online content in Korea and Asia. This year, the categories were expanded from Asia to global content, making it a more differentiated content awards ceremony.

Meanwhile, the Busan International Film Festival will be held in the Busan Cinema Center area until Oct 13th.
