Actors Yoo Yeon Seok and Moon Ga Young of JTBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “The Interest of Love” appear in a couple pictorial for Elle, released on Dec 20th.
The Elle photoshoot was sketched out based on the close relationship between Ha Sang Soo (Yoo Yeon Seok) and Ahn Soo Young (Moon Ga Young), who are shaken between the romance of love and reality. The photos perfectly capture the affectionate chemistry and the romantic atmosphere between the two actors. It is rumored that Yoo Yeon Seok and Moon Ga Young led the atmosphere of the set by exchanging pleasant jokes with each other.
In an interview conducted after the shoot, Yoo Yeon Seok said, “I suddenly wanted to act what pure love is. ‘The Interest of Love’ is a fresh approach to emotions that I could think about and feel at my age.” Moon Ga-young shared, “The script is so good, I show it to my mother and acquaintances with excitement. Everyone welcomed this work. I just think that I would be able to show them a new Moon Ga Young, who people still don’t know about,” she said, expressing her expectations.
The actors also praised each other. Regarding Moon Ga Young, Yoo Yeon Seok said, “I realizes that she is such a happy virus. I’ve never felt confused when talking to her about our acting and understanding of the work.” In response, Moon Ga Young said, “Yoo Yeon Seok is a very delicate ‘gentleman’. I learned a lot from how he always monitors each scene meticulously.”
The actors also shared a glimpse of their philosophy of love, as both are loved for their melodramatic acting. “The more you know about love, the more you fall in love, the more ambiguous it becomes,” Yoo Yeon Seok said, adding, “You can have everything because of love, but it can be very painful as well. Nevertheless, love seems to be a force that helps me endure all that.” Moon Ga Young also said, “No matter how well you spend your time alone, people’s heart end up moving with love. I feel more energized when I have an object to put my heart into,” she said, hinting at her aspect of a romanticist.
The photoshoot will be published in the January issue of Elle Korea.
