Actress Go Hyun Jung challenges an unconventional character for the first time in her acting career.
Recently, Netflix Korea released official press still cuts and teaser trailer for the new original series “Mask Girl”.
The released photos and video showed different images of actors such as Go Hyun Jung, Nana, Yeom Hye Ran and Ahn Jae Hong, who appear in “Mask Girl”.
“Mask Girl” tells the story of an ordinary office worker with an appearance complex who gets caught up in an unintended incident while working as an internet BJ while covering her face with a mask every night. It is based on the webtoon of the same name.
Suffering from an appearance complex, Kim Mo Mi shows off her irresistible charms and talents as streamer Mask Girl, who does sexy dances with a mask on.
However, Kim Mo Mi crosses an irreversible line after fighting with a person who approaches her with bad intentions.
Go Hyun Jung was cast as Kim Mo Mi, who loses the past’s glory and continues her life in prison.
In the released still cuts, Go Hyun Jung surprised viewers with the short hairstyle that was rarely seen. In addition, she overwhelmed viewers with mysterious expressions.
“Mask Girl” director Kim Yong Hoon expressed confidence and affection for the work by saying, “It was an honor to be able to work with Go Hyun Jung.”
Netflix’s new original series “Mask Girl”, which contains Go Hyun Jung’s unconventional acting transformation, will be released only on Netflix on August 18th.
